About Arcadia Clinic For Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery
Arcadia Clinic for Plastic Surgery was established as the first cosmetic surgery clinic in Croatia. We already have more than 18 years of experience and successful work in the fields of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and two generations of surgeons working together, adding innovation to experience and safety, devoted to the highest quality of treatment and comfort for our patients.
Our clinic is located in a beautiful place in Daruvar, a cozy small town in a region of Slavonia (Croatia) with more than 2200 years of history since the settlement of Celt tribes and then Romans due to its famous thermal waters. We are located in the edge of the Roman Woods, which has many trails for walking and admiring the nature and easy access to the town and thermal waters.
In the clinic also it’s present a team of different specialists, each one with the proper certification and training that includes Cardiology and Internal Medicine, making of the clinic a center with multiple services and where inter-specialty collaboration is possible obtaining the best outcomes for the patients.
With the team of doctors currently are working four qualified nurses that have special experience in Aesthetic and General Surgery that will take the best care of you during the consultation and surgical procedures.
The facilities available for patients are comfortable, including rooms with private bathroom, air conditioning, flat screen television, wi-fi internet and meals for patients recovering overnight. When needed, transport from the Airport, Bus Station, Zagreb and other cities of Croatia is arranged with our driver in advance for your commodity.

Biography: Bojan Ignatovski, M.Sc., M.D., was born in Zletovo, the Republic of Macedonia, where he finished primary and grammar school. He took his degree in medicine from the Medical School of the University of Zagreb. In the course of his studies he conducted scientific research and took an active part in two student congresses (Opatija and Ohrid).

Biography: Dr. Kovacevic was born in 1955 in Zagreb. Completed basic and high school in Virovitica, Croatia, in the year 1974, after which he started to study Medicine in Zagreb, finishing with success in the year 1979. He practiced internship and two years of general medicine in Virovitica Hospital. In 1984 he started the specialty of anesthesia, reanimation and intensive care in Sisters of Mercy Hospital in Zagreb, under mentorship of Prof. Dr. Maša Formanek.

Biography: Dr. Vlado Bartoš was born in 1949 in Koncanica, where he studied and finished basic school, to complete high school in Daruvar in 1968. His studies of Medicine were in the Medicine Faculty of the University of Zagreb, where he graduated in 1973.As general doctor he worked the years 1974 and '75 in Miokovicev (Previously Ðulovac) and Daruvar. During the years 1976 to '78 he worked as a resident of surgery in Pakrac Hospital and then started the radiology specialty in Bjelovar hospital and Vinogradska Hospital in Zagreb (1979-1982), graduating in the year 1982. After, he worked as a radiologist in the Health Center of Daruvar from 1982 to 1991.From the year 1991 works in the General Hospital of Bjelovar and from 1999 he is the head of the Radiology service, participating in the professional and educational activities developed in the hospital.He has been mentor of several training residents in radiology and also President from the Croatian Medical Chamber, Bjelovar branch, between 1997 and 2001.Currently Dr. Vlado Bartoš attends in Arcadia Clinic as a consultant, sharing his long experience in ultrasound and Doppler ultrasound with the patients of the clinic.Postgraduate studiesPostgraduate study in Radiology in Medicine Faculty in Zagreb. 1981-82.Postgraduate study in Medical Ultrasound in Medicine Faculty in Zagreb. 1990-92.

Biography: Dr. Vladimir Bartoš was born in 1973 in Pakrac and studied basic school in Daruvar. Finished high school in Bjelovar and started to study Medicine in the Medicine Faculty in Zagreb.After internship and final exam in 2000, starts his specialization in Gynecology and Obstetrics in the Clinical Hospital Merkur in Zagreb. From the year 2001 he is a staff doctor from the Service for Health Care of Women in Bjelovar, and finished his education for the specialty passing the final exam in the Clinic for Women Pathology and Pregnancy in Zagreb in 2005.He speaks actively Czech and English languages.

Biography: Nurse Ðurdica was born in 1973, finished technical school for nursing in Bjelovar, Croatia, with mention in Medicine Nursing. Her practice was done in the County Hospital in Bjelovar, passing the her final exam in the year 1993. She works in Arcadia Clinic since the year 1998 as nurse and surgery instrumentalist. In the year 2008 she received added training as surgery instrumentalist for plastic and aesthetic surgery in the Clinic for Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Zagreb, Croatia, Section of Plastic Surgery.From the year 2008 she has the position of Chief Nurse in Arcadia Clinic for Plastic Surgery.
