Biography: FounderGraduate in odontology from the University of Costa Rica, she is world wide recognized for her academic excellenceDirector of the Odontology Department of the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social (Social Security) Hospital in San Vito, Coto Brus, in 1985 she developed a community dental project for disabled and low income people. She also visited and helped patients dentistry services in a mobile unit. During 20 years of dental career, she has transformed many people’s smiles and lives with her remarkable experience in patient-dentist relationship as human beings.
